Kelly Osbourne and Miley Cyrus bonded because of their famous parents
The pair became close while working on movie 'So Undercover' together and Kelly ' the daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne and TV star Sharon - explained they became close because they are so similar and both understand the pressure of being the kids of celebrities.
Speaking about Miley ' whose father is 'Achy Breaky Heart' singer Billy Ray Cyrus ' Kelly told the Daily Record newspaper:"I didn't know Miley well before. We had only met once or twice but as soon as we started shooting it was pretty instant how we got along so well.
"She just gets it. She has a really similar upbringing to me - though her side of things is on a completely different scale to mine.
"I'm from rock 'n' roll music and hers is country . but she gets it.
"It's nice to hang around an unaffected girl you can have fun with and understand what I go through and I understand what she goes through."
The pair are so close that Kelly previously took to twitter to defend Miley after the 18-year-old singer-and-actress was filmed smoking a legal high from a bong - a filtration device generally used for smoking illegal drug cannabis.
She previously tweeted:"This really makes me mad. Miley is one of the most hard working respectful women I have ever worked with I am learning a lot from her!
"Miley and I have become really close I'm sick of all the haters judging her she made one mistake and trust me she has learned her lesson!"

Mick Jagger has formed a new supergroup
The Rolling Stones star will work alongside Joss Stone, Damian Marley, Eurythmics' Dave Stewart and Indian musician A.R. Rahman in the new band, thought to be called Super Heavy, and they are currently in discussions for a major record deal.
A source told the New York Post newspaper:"They just finished a record and their first video and are talking to major labels about a deal. The name for the band at the moment is Super Heavy."
Many of the group have worked together in the past, and the eclectic background of the stars has given the group a unique sound.
Another source added:"Each member has a very distinct and different style, but it works. Mick has been recording with Dave for a while, and both worked with Joss in the past."
However, a representative for Mick ' whose last album was 'A Bigger Bang' with the Stones in 2005 ' has said the group have just been having"fun"together.
The spokesperson revealed:"They all thought it would be interesting and great fun to go into the studio and play some music. No video has been shot, no label in place. All a bit premature."

AC/DC have no limits when it comes to designing their elaborate stage props
The 'Back in Black' rockers have had huge pieces built for their tours, including a giant inflatable woman, an on stage wrecking ball for their 'Ballbreaker' tour and, most recently, a huge derailed train to accompany the song 'Rock 'n' Roll Train' on their 'Black Ice' world tour from 2008 to 2010, and claim they never accept a limit to the size or scale of what they have onstage.
Singer Brian Johnson said:"This is rock and roll, there's no such word as 'no'. It was {guitarists} Malcolm and Angus {Young's} idea about the train, initially just trying to think of a train, and just say to somebody 'Right, we want a train', and to convert that into the real thing."
Angus added to Britain's Absolute Radio DJ Ben Jones:"Yeah, I mean, you can dream what you want, but something's got to be practical, because sometimes you can come up with great ideas and you put them into practice and you go 'Oh s**t, that looks naff.'"
Brian added:"Yeah, but we did do it and it really was sensational, that train, and it never screwed up, it was always bang on."
Despite being together for 38 years and having crossed the world many times with their shows, the group ' which also includes Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd 'never get bored of touring and playing live for people.
Brian added:"The travelling is tedious, you know, but the on stage bit, getting on the stage, that's the fun bit, you know, that's what you're getting out for.
"I would welcome another tour, just to get out there. I mean, if they said, 'Another two years' I might blanch a bit, but I think everybody in the band is fit, well prepared, and they've still got it."

Each member of The Killers will play a solo song at Hard Rock Calling.
The 'When you Were Young' band are headlining the UK festival next month - their first show in Europe since they went on hiatus in January 2010 - and will reportedly use the opportunity to showcase material they have been working on by themselves.
In their time off, singer Brandon Flowers has released a solo album, drummer Ronnie Vannucci has been working on a record with his band Big Talk, while guitarist Dave Keuning and bassist Mark Stoermer have also been working on separate projects.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: 'The boys will probably have a song each. Ronnie's got his new album coming out soon and he's got a really great voice.
'But whatever Dave does I'm sure it will be something a little weirder though.'
Shortly after the 'Somebody Told Me' group were announced as headlining the festival on June 24, Ronnie said the group were looking forward to playing for their English fans again.
He said:"It's been too long, friends. Feels like forever since we've seen each other and now it's time we pay a visit."
Other acts performing at Hard Rock Calling ' which takes place between June 24 and 26 - include headliners Rod Stewart and Bon Jovi, Adam Ant and former Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks.

Tinie Tempah's success has left his head in a 'very weird place'
The 'Written in the Stars' hitmaker is adjusting to what he calls a"'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' type reality,"jetting between countries to perform and promote his debut album, 'Disc-Overy', which has provided him with plenty of issues he wants to address on his next record.
Explaining how he hasn't seen his parents or siblings for months, he said:"I'm starting to think about my life, thinking about where I'm going to be in three years time: who I'm going to be with, where I'm going to be situated myself.
'And all these questions I keep asking myself every day is going into this new record. My head is in a very weird place at this moment, as you can probably imagine.'
Tinie, 22, rose to fame after his debut track 'Pass Out' became a surprise hit in the UK in February 2010, kick starting his career and propelling him on to international star status, and he said this at least makes singing the song's line"I'm a star now"easier.
He added to dose.ca:"It definitely rolls off the tongue a lot easier. It was been more about the ambitions and the goals I wanted to achieve.
'Now that I've got to this point, which is what I wanted to achieve on the first album, there's another place that I need to go to.'
Tinie also said he has completed three new tracks, 'Till I'm Gone' with Wiz Khalifa, 'I So Addicted' and 'Love Suicide' which are more reflective of his present situation.

JLS are in talks to collaborate with Rihanna
The British boyband are in talks with the 'S&M' singer about recording a track together and singer Oritse Williams admitted he was extremely taken by the Bajan beauty when he met her.
He said:"We are in talks to collaborate with Rihanna. Let's see what happens there. We hope so. I tried to chat her up."
However, although Oritse's attempts to woo the pop star seemed to be working, he decided to give up when he realised how many other men were also trying to talk to her.
He explained to BANG showbiz:"It was going well and then there were a few other guys on the prowl and I said, 'You know what, I'll step out because there's others.' I can't say who.
"But she's popular, very popular when she comes to England."
The 'Beat Again' hitmaker is keen for JLS to collaborate with more female artists, such as former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, Adele and Jessie J.
He continued:"We haven't actually collaborated with a solo female artist apart from Kylie Minogue. Nicole Scherzinger would be amazing. We should give it a try.
"I'm a huge fan of Adele, I'd absolutely love to collaborate with Adele. That would be absolutely amazing. Also Jessie J. That would be very, very incredible."

The 'Baby' hitmaker has implied he will keep a promise made by the American leader that he would arrange a meeting between the 17-year-old pop superstar and 14-year-old Payton Wall.
The 17-year-old singer wrote on twitter:"I think you're wrong. Pretty sure President @BarackObama will keep this promise."
Payton ' whose father died when he was trapped in the World Trade Centre during the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York ' first tweeted the 'One Less Lonely Girl' singer in February.
She wrote:"hey! I have an awful life story and without your music idk if i could have survived. do you think i could send you a letter? (sic)"
But when the New Jersey girl did not receive any response, she wrote a letter to President Obama and the White House promptly invited her to meet him at Ground Zero in New York City, where he told her he"knows Justin"and made the vow to arrange a meeting with her idol.

Johnny Depp is writing music with Steven Tyler
The 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' actor ' who has previously played guitar on tracks by Oasis and Shane McGowan ' has struck up a friendship with the Aerosmith rocker and says their collaboration is a 'dream come true'.
He told US TV show 'Extra': 'We've been hanging out here and there. He's someone I've admired greatly for such a long time. The idea of writing songs with him is a dream come true."
Steven recently admitted he would love to see Johnny play him in a movie of his life and the 47-year-old actor would jump at the chance to portray the rocker.
He said:"I would give it a shot, why not."
Meanwhile, Johnny ' who reprises his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' ' has admitted he was pleased Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards agreed to return to the franchise as Captain Teague ' because spending time with the legendary musician makes him feel like he is in a rock band.
He said:"To be able to bring him back into the 'Pirates' fold, where he most certainly belongs, was a gas.
"Just spending a couple days sharing a trailer, it was as close, I suppose, as being in a rock 'n' roll band with him as you can get."

Glee producer starts record label
Adam Anders, the Swedish born producer of Glee, has started a record label he likes to call Andres Music Records.
Anders first signing is 'Good Luck Charlie' star Shane Harper. Harper plays Spencer Walsh in the Disney TV show.
Anders is expected to leverage the exposure of the music in television shows to boost sales of his artist's records. Harper's single 'One Step Closer' has already been featured in an episode of 'Good Luck Charlie'.
Despite the strategy, sales for Harper have been mediocre. 'One Step Closer' has sold just 3000 units while the album has sold less than 1000 units after 3 weeks on sale.

The Flaming Lips will have an all-star audience when they perform their 'Everyone You Know Someday Will Die' shows at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery next month.

The Last Shadow Puppets singer was asked to play the warm up slot for the band's recent concerts and although he had met Liam before, Miles was still surprised with the level of support he got from the singer.
He told Shortlist magazine: ' think their management got in touch after they heard the songs 'Inhaler' and 'Come Closer'. I'd met Liam in a bar once before when we had a chat and a fag, so I didn't really know him but it was great to be asked and they really enjoyed having us. Liam was watching each performance from the sides.
' actually only met him very briefly on the tour. I was waiting to go on stage on the first night in Glasgow and he came out of his dressing room and walked straight over to me. Then he just grabbed me and went, 'I f***ing love you and I love 'Come Closer'. It was great.'
Miles also claimed he admires the Beady Eye frontman so much that he would love to be him but knows he and others could never compete.
He explained: 'Liam Gallagher is the only person who can be Liam Gallagher. Lads try to be like him ' we all grow our hair the same and have that swagger ' but you've got to leave that stuff to Liam. Sometimes we all like a little rant but you've got to be yourself.'

Britney Spears promises 'outrageously spectacular' tour
Britney Spears has promised her latest tour will be 'outrageously spectacular".
The 29-year-old singer is set to hit the road in June with her 'Femme Fatale Tour' and she has assured fans they won't be disappointed with her stage show, dance routines and set list.
She said:"The 'Femme Fatale Tour' will hopefully just be outrageously spectacular. I'm just hoping that the choreographers will come up with just the most outrageous things, and I'm really excited."
Britney ' who will be supported by Nicki Minaj for the 26 concerts, which begin on June 16 in Sacramento ' can't wait to start performing live again.
Speaking in a new video posted on her personal website, she said:"This is the most excited I've been about a project in a really long time, so I can't wait."
Britney's manager Larry Rudolph has previously revealed the concerts will have a post-apocalyptic theme, to coincide with her latest single 'Till the World Ends.'
He explained:"This is exactly the direction we're moving in. 'Till the World Ends' keeps becoming a theme for us . The way we come up with a concept for a show like this is we sit with Britney, she talks to us about what she's interested in and what excites her."

Cee Lo Green, Florence Welch and Patti Smith contributing to Buddy Holly tribute album
Cee Lo Green, Florence Welch and Patti Smith are among a group of musicians who are contributing to a Buddy Holly tribute album.
The 'Peggy Sue' singer - who died in 1959 at the age of just 22 in a plane crash - is being commemorated in a 19-track compilation LP called 'Rave On Buddy Holly'.
It will also feature tracks recorded by Sir Paul McCartney, Julian Casablancas, Kid Rock and Modest Mouse.
Set to be released in the US on June 28, the album will feature new interpretations of Buddy's classic tracks, including 'That'll Be the Day', 'Maybe Baby' and 'Dearest'.
Cee Lo will perform his own version of '(You're So Square) Baby I Don't Care', Florence will sing 'Not Fade Away', while punk singer Patti's track will be 'Words of Love'.
Fiona Apple, The Black Keys, Nick Lowe and Karen Elson will also contribute tracks.
Buddy's talent has continued to be recognised since his death and he was among the first musicians to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986.
In 2004, he was ranked by Rolling Stone at number 13 on"The 50 Greatest Artists of All Time".

Ellie Goulding will 'never' forget performing at the royal wedding reception
The 'Starry Eyed' hitmaker was asked by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to sing at their post-wedding party at Buckingham Palace on Friday (29.04.11) and after serenading the 300 guests with a selection of her hits and clovers of classic tracks ' including Sir Elton John's 'Your Song', which was the couple's first dance ' she admits she was 'honoured' to have been involved.
She said: '"It was an amazing honour to be asked by Kate and William to perform at their party. The atmosphere was incredible and it is a night I'll never forget!"
While members of the royal family, including Queen Elizabeth and William's father Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, left before midnight, the celebrations continued until 2am for younger revellers at an afterparty thrown by best man Prince Harry.
According to reports, the final song played was King's of Leon's 'Sex on Fire', after Prince Harry promised partygoers one final song before they had to leave.
Introducing the song, he told guests: 'This has been a great night but please respect the family and those upstairs when you leave. And don't wake up the neighbours.
'OK, here's one more song but promise you will leave after. This one is dedicated to my brother.'
Guests at Harry's afterparty were treated to potent Crack Baby cocktails, which contain vodka, passion fruit, raspberry liqueur and champagne, and tucked into snacks including popcorn and Haribo sweets.
Earlier in the day, guests at the more formal wedding reception ' who were seated at tables named after towns and cities close to the hearts of the bride and groom - were served a three-course meal cooked by Prince Charles' favourite chef Anton Mossiman.
He served crab layered with fresh langoustine, followed by herb-stuffed lamb, then a trio of desserts, chocolate mousse, honeycomb ice cream and sherry trifle.

Plan B taught Ny how to write her songs as stories
The 22-year-old artist ' real name Nyomi Gray ' has been a fixture on the British grime and urban music scene for years, but is only now starting a solo career, and said rapper Plan B has played a huge part in helping her realise her skills.
She told BANG showbiz:"I can't even big Plan B up enough, he's incredible at writing, producing, rapping, paying guitar, and when you can do all those things you can't not be amazing.
"I've known him for over ten years and he's always helping and nurturing, particularly on my writing, he's very story based and he can always think of different ways to write, when I first started he spent a lot of time playing guitar riffs with me and helping me pick out melodies."
The 'Be With You' singer added that while her songs are story based like those of her 'She Said' hitmaker mentor, she has a different lyrical inspiration, taking episodes from her own life.
She added:"My songs definitely always have a story, Plan B's are usually fictional, whereas mine are based on like my life or friends that I know, so in that way we differ.
"Sometimes people are surprised when they are in the songs, because we all have a perception of people's lives and I'm an artist who is still a real person, I've grown up and gone through different things like teenage dramas, home life, family problems, things most people go through, so I think people can relate."

Cirque du Soleil are to recreate Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch in Las Vegas
The Canadian entertainment company plan to turn the Mandalay Bay resort into a tribute attraction to the late 'King of Pop' which will include a lounge inspired by the singer, a museum of memorabilia and a theatre which will be a replicate of the pop legend's famous home.
In an announcement made at the hotel and casino on Wednesday (28.04.11) ' which was attended by Michael's brother Jackie - Cirque du Soleil President Daniel Lamarre said: 'This place, Mandalay Bay, is going to become the home of Michael Jackson in many, many ways."
John Branca, co-executor of the Jackson estate, has also revealed the attraction will contain items from the star's home.
He said: 'Very few fans would ever get to visit Michael's Neverland Ranch because of its remote location. Now they can.'
The Las Vegas tribute to the 'Billie Jean' hitmaker is set to open in 2013, and is the latest collaboration between the circus troupe and the Jackson estate.
Cirque du Soleil's new show, 'Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour' ' which cost $57 million to create ' is set to open in Montreal, Canada, in October and will then tour 30 cities across North America, including New York, Miami, Denver, New Orleans, Philadelphia and Los Angeles.
When the show hits the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas in December it will coincide with a fan convention which will launch the permanent tribute to Michael.
'Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour' contains many of Michael's greatest hits, clips of his iconic music videos and several as-yet-unreleased songs.

Lady Gaga throws royal wedding-themed party to mark the end of her tour
The eccentric singer marked the end of her 'Monster's Ball' tour on Wednesday (27.04.11) by throwing a huge bash inspired by today's (29.04.11) nuptials between Prince William and Kate Middleton for her friends, family and crew in Cleveland, Ohio.
According to insiders, the 'Judas' singer decorated the venue with Union Jack bunting and served her guests ' including her mother Cynthia - traditional English fare such as cucumber sandwiches, coronation chicken and crumpets with jam, with gin cocktails served in royal mugs.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: 'Gaga had the time of her life ' on occasion she was even talking in a London accent.
'Her attention to detail was impressive. She had a special room decorated backstage in British flags and bunting and everyone was told to work the royal look.'
Gaga, 25, dressed up as William's great-grandmother, the late Queen Mother, in what was described as a 'unique interpretation' of the royal, while her entourage were also creative in their costumes.
The source added: 'Her dancers came dressed as Wills and Harry, Henry VIII and even corgis, like the Queen's dogs.'

Mel B is to become a judge on the Australian 'X Factor'
The former Spice Girls singer ' who is due to give birth to her first child with husband Stephen Belafonte in June or July ' will be replacing radio DJ Kyle Sandilands on the panel for the talent search show.
With filming commencing just weeks after the 35-year-old star is due to give birth, Mel will be joining Boyzone star Ronan Keating and Australian singer Guy Sebastian in the hot seats.
She said:"I love Australia and can't wait to see all the amazing talent the country has to offer."
Meanwhile, the fourth and final judge ' who will replace 'Torn' hitmaker Natalie Imbruglia ' is yet to be announced, but it is widely rumoured former 'Neighbours' actress Natalie Bassingthwaighte will assume the role.
Mel ' who also has two daughters, Phoenix, 12, and Angel, four, from previous relationships and is currently based in Los Angeles ' recently hinted she would be taking over from Cheryl Cole on the UK version of the show.
The 35-year-old star said:"I think I might be coming over for quite some time at some point next year. Well, I'm not going by myself, am I? The whole family is going to move, I think.

Girls Aloud singer Cheryl is leaving her position on the British version to take a judging role on the upcoming US version along with show boss Simon Cowell.

Sinitta feared she would die when a tumour was found in her stomach
The former pop star has revealed she was terrified when she was rushed to hospital two months ago to have the growth removed and was worried that the 'worst case scenario' would happen - leaving her adopted children Magdalena, six and Zac, five, without a mother.
She said:"I went for my annual check-up and there was the tumour. It was the size of a large fist.
"{I feared} the worst case scenario ' I only adopted my babies a few years ago and they're still so young. I really believe in God so I started praying like crazy.'
Luckily the 42-year-old personality - who once dated Simon Cowell and has appeared on 'The X Factor' as his assistant - was given the all-clear.
Explaining her relief, she said:"I can only describe it as being born again. I must have been really panicking inside because the relief was so tremendous. All I could think about was my babies and my mum.'
Now she's back to fighting fit, Sinitta has her hopes pinned on a role in the American version of 'The X Factor'.
She told New! magazine:"I told Simon the night before I went into hospital. He was quite stunned but positive.
"I'd love my usual role or a judge's role."
The brunette also hopes she won't be snubbed in favour of judge Cheryl Cole, who is rumoured for a role stateside.
She admitted:"I'd be miserable. The only thing he could do to make it up to me would be to make me a judge on the UK version."

Liverpool bands get together for charity @ Fiesta Obscenic 2011
It's a humble affair in a tight and cosy environment, this year's Fiesta Obscenic takes place at Wostenholme Creative Space, Liverpool on Saturday 7th May with over 30 bands coming together to raise money for the British Red Cross and their work in Japan and Libya.
The basic idea is to bring as many great music scenes together in Liverpool as possible while doing something good for people who need the money and support more than us. Last year over 20 bands played and with the help of all those who came,£700 was raised for Ovarian Cancer Action.
In light of the recent happenings in both Japan and Libya, this year the Fiesta will be aimed at supporting the efforts of the British Red Cross and the appeals they have launched for both sets of victims. http://www.redcross.org.uk/

LeAnn Rimes married Eddie Cibrian in a small ceremony in California yesterday (22.04.11).
The country singer ' who was married to dancer Dean Sheremet when she met Eddie, who was also married, on the set of TV movie 'Northern Lights' ' wore a dress by Reem Acra and exchanged vows in a private home in the US state in front of 40 guests.
LeAnn's spokesperson confirmed to People.com: 'LeAnn and Eddie were happily married surrounded by their closest family and friends. They thank everyone for their well wishes.'
Eddie's children Mason, seven and Jake, four ' from his previous marriage to make-up artist Brandi Glanville ' were at the wedding.
The37-year-old actor proposed ' with a 5-carat diamond ring - to the 'Can't Fight The Moonlight' hitmaker over the Christmas period and guests were told they were attending an engagement party to celebrate this weekend, but the couple surprised guests by marrying.
LeAnn recently claimed the extra-marital affair between the pair was not done 'in the right way' and she admitted things got 'really messy'.
She said: ' know I didn't do it the right way. I didn't have the tools to know how to do it the right way, how to let go the right way.
''d never been taught that. I have the strength now but I didn't at the time. So it got really messy, but I have learned a lot from that. And I'm not glad it happened, but I know why it did.'

Christina Aguilera to be the first star immortalised on Hollywood's new Gay Walk of Fame
The 'Beautiful' singer ' who recently finalised her divorce to ex-husband Jordan Bratman ' will become the first inductee at the new attraction at West Hollywood eatery The Abbey by cementing her hands and feet in the sidewalk.
Stevie St. John, representative for the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center, explained the 30-year-old singer was chosen as the first gay icon to appear on the new Walk of Fame because of the work she has done in speaking out in support of equality within the homosexual community.
He told gossip website RadarOnline:"We're proud of Christina, who's always supported causes important to gay people. We applaud her for speaking out in favour of equality and working to support the community.'
Legendary gay hotspot The Abbey was one of late screen legend Elizabeth Taylor's favourite hangouts, and when owners decided to recently remodel the club, they chose to include the Gay Walk of Fame as an attraction.
Christina recently admitted she gets bedroom advice from her gay pals because she thinks they understand her problems better than anyone else.
She said:"I love giving my male friends advice. And when I need advice myself? I go to my gay guy friends. They're very understanding and they are often coming from the same perspective.
"Who's better at giving advice, gay or straight guys? Well that depends on the advice you're looking for. If it's bedroom-related, my gay friends are the best. They just lay it out there!"

Britney Spears 'was like a little kid' in the recording studio with will.i.am
The Black Eyed Peas star wrote the track 'Big Fat Bass' for Britney's new album 'Femme Fatale' and loved working with her because her enthusiasm was infectious.
He said:"I discovered her love for music. I have never seen anyone, like, come alive, full of excitement and giggling and laughing behind the mic.
'She was like a little kid when she was recording the song and it just brought the whole atmosphere, it changed the whole atmosphere when someone really loves music. So it was great working with her."
Despite Britney's enthusiasm, will.i.am said she is also completely professional and didn't any advice from him.
He added to MTV:"When someone's excited to go out and just do it, what advice? You don't need no advice. She is like, 'When I say on the song, 'You all better get ready for the kick drum,'' she was already anticipating what she was going to do onstage when that beat broke down.
'Adding that type of perspective, when we were recording it, you don't need to give nobody like Britney advice."
Meanwhile, will.i.am and the other members of the Black Eyed Peas ' Fergie, Taboo and apl.de.ap ' have announced plans to open a school for New York teenagers to learn video and music production through their charitable organisation, The Peapod Foundation.

Big Chill Line-up Announced
Big Chill have finally released their line up for this summer's festival, announcing a surprise headliner in Kanye West. Alongside the R n B megastar is The Chemical Brothers, Jessie J, Chipmunk&Calvin Harris to name but a few. The festival seems to have moved away from booking a varied line-up as Lily Allen headlined the bash last year, although few could argue about the quality of the bands on show this time around. Edinburghs Best Bands to Release Album for Sick Kids Hospital
The best of the Edinburgh music scene have come together to release an album in aid of The Sick Kids Hospital in Edinburgh.
The album,"No Colour Too Strong To Paint"will be released on the 7th May 2011 and will be available to buy online, and a limited edition CD will be on sale at the launch party. It features the very best Edinburgh artists and provides a great snapshot of the current Edinburgh scene.
Confirmed artists so far are The Thanes, Delta Mainline, Frantic Chant, My Electric Love Affair, Steve Heron, The Valkary's, White Heath, The Jackals, Imperial Racing Club, The OK Social Club, Scrap Brain, Epic26, The 10.04's,John Durnan, Matt Norris And The Moon, The Lunes, The Remnant Kings,The Steals, Inspired, David Winpenny and Nicky Carder.
The Sick Kids Friends Foundation was set up in 1992 to support the work of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh. The Hospital receives over 100,000 children through its doors each year from all over the East of Scotland.
The album launch party will be at Maggies Chamber in Edinburgh on the 7th of May. Playing live will be Frantic Chant, My Electric Love Affair, White Heath, Steve Heron, The Steals, The Remnant Kings and David Winpenny.

Alicia Keys to mark anniversary of her 'Songs in A Minor' album with a special London gig
Alicia Keys is to mark the 10-year anniversary of her 'Songs in A Minor' album with a special London concert.
The 'Empire State of Mind' hitmaker is to celebrate a decade since the release of her debut LP by performing at the historic Royal Albert Hall on June 13.
The intimate show, entitled 'Piano&I: A One Night Only Event With Alicia Keys', will see the singer perform tracks from the album, as well as some of her other classic hits, accompanied just by her piano.
She told BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat:"It's incredible that I've been able to make it 10 years and here we are celebrating that.
"London is so good to me. I want to show my gratitude."
In addition to the concert, Alicia - who will also tell stories about her career during the show - is releasing deluxe and collectors' editions of 'Songs in A Minor' on June 27.
The new reworking of the album will also feature 10 tracks penned by the singer at the time she was first writing the album.
She said:"I think back to a time when I barely thought an album would be able to come out just because there were so many trials and tribulations.
"When the record did finally come out and was able to be heard and people fell in love with it, it was a testament to doing great music and not allowing people's negativity stop you from what you dream."

Christina Aguilera's divorce has been finalized
The pop star's marriage to music executive Jordan Bratman was legally ended today (15.04.11) in California after the required six-month waiting period from the date divorce papers were filed by Christina in October 2010 had elapsed.
The former couple had already finalized a settlement in February and had agreed to share custody of their three-year-old son Max, although the specific terms of their care agreement have not been made public.
It is believed they divided their assets according to their prenuptial agreement.
Christina - who is now dating 25-year-old Matt Rutler, who she met when he worked as an assistant on her film 'Burlesque' - recently admitted she has learned to laugh about the"hiccups"in her personal life.
The singer-and-actress - who was arrested for public intoxication along with Matt in March - previously said:"I can laugh about my own hiccups and my own experiences in life because I'm getting through it ... In light of the past year, there have been obvious setbacks. I've gone through a really hard divorce, and anyone who has gone through a divorce will speak about how hard the journey is from start to finish. It's a life-uprooting time and there have been hiccups along the way that unfortunately the whole world gets to witness and judge."

Lily Allen has 'completely blown' her wedding budget
The 'Not Fair' singer is set to marry fiance Sam Cooper on June 11 and while she initially wanted the nuptials to be a small affair, they have now become a lot bigger as she doesn't want any expense spared for her big day.
A source close to Lily ' whose wedding dresses is being created by Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld ' said: ' think the wedding dress itself is going to cost a small fortune. And her sisters, Teddy and Sarah, who are bridesmaids, are getting Chanel dresses too. If there was a budget for the wedding, it's been completely blown. It's gone from a small intimate family do with close friends, to something huge. There are so many people Lily feels she needs to invite. She also wants the champagne to flow and the food to be amazing.'
Friends claim Lily is getting obsessed with the wedding and is often up all night finalising plans.

Tastebuds.fm is a dating service based on your music tastes. It connects people who share the same passion for music artists.
The company surveyed 400 users and the findings were interesting indeed. Want sex on a first date? Then you are better off finding a friend who likes Nirvana, Metallica or Linkin Park.
Want to hold hands on a first date and nothing much else? Then the Coldplay, Adele, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga fans are best suited to your emotions.
Ironically, fans of The Strokes are unlikely to get stroked on a first date and if you want head, stay away from Radiohead fans.
Kanye West, Gorillaz, Daft Punk and Eminem fans are far more likely to get laid on a first date than Kings Of Leon, Muse and Rihanna fans.

Paul Simon new album 'So Beautiful or So What' out in June
Paul Simon will release his eagerly anticipated new album, 'So Beautiful or So What', on June 13th through Hear Music/Concord Music Group.
Produced by Phil Ramone and Paul Simon, the ten track album ' his 12th solo studio record - sees Simon crafting his songs around harmony and song structure instead of the beat-driven form of writing which has inspired him since the mid-1980s.
'Since 'Graceland', I've always made the record based on either making the tracks or the percussion first,' Simon told Rolling Stone. 'This time the stimuli was a guitar in my lap. That takes me back to 'Still Crazy After All These Years' or 'Something So Right'.'
Opening with a song for all seasons 'Getting Ready for Christmas Day', the album starts as it means to go on, with a dry wit, keen political awareness (both personal and global) and a damn fine melody.
'The Afterlife' muses on the next world over a laid back Soca beat and the taut 'Love Is Eternal Sacred Light' on the power of good and evil while the tender 'Questions for the Angels' tells its tale of messengers of god and the homeless wandering the streets of Brooklyn and the title track gives listeners a chicken gumbo recipe.
Recording the demos in the equipment packed cottage next to his house in Connecticut, guitarist Vincent Nguini and percussionist Steve Shehan offered up their talents, as did Grizzly Bear's drummer, Chris Bear, who contributed electronic drum parts.
Taking more than a year to perfect, Simon has revealed that 'So Beautiful or So What' reminds him of his very first solo release, his acclaimed 1972 album 'Paul Simon'.

Two Door Cinema Club to record second album at home
The Irish 'I Can Talk' band have recently started living together and have plan to set up a studio so they can work on new material once they finish touring and performing at festivals this summer.
Singer Alex Trimble said:"We've just moved in to a house - we're setting up a studio in there, so I guess after festival season we'll have a little more time off and just keep recording and hopefully make another record, or maybe two, and just see what happens."
The indie trio ' also including guitarist Sam Halliday and bassist Kevin Baird ' are set to play at festivals on both sides of the Atlantic this year including Coachella in California, but they claim appearing at Glastonbury in the UK has been their favourite experience so far as they have fond memories of meeting their musical heroes there.
Alex added to Spinner.com:"It is absolutely crazy. I mean, last year we played the 'other stage' at Glastonbury which is sort of like the second stage dine-in.
"I mean, you're playing with artists that you grew up with and you're playing with the bands that inspired you and the people that made you want to write music and stuff.
"It's weird when you're hanging backstage and one of those people walks past you. You're in such close proximity with all these people you've known but not met all your life.'

U2's 360 Degree tour to become biggest in history on Sunday night
When U2 walks on the stage in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Sunday night, they will be setting the record for the biggest tour in music history.
By the numbers, they will have passed the previous record of $558 million gross set by the Rolling Stones' A Bigger Bang Tour which ran from 2005 to 2007. They will also have sold seven-million tickets which surpasses the Stones again, who sold 6.4 million during their shows. All of this was done in 110 shows.
The tour goes through to July 30th when it ends in Moncton, NB. By that time, it is expected that they will have taken in over $700 million.
Group manager, Paul McGuinness told Billboard that the record was"something we're very proud of having set and to set it with a further 20-plus shows to go on the tour is kind of mind-blowing. It means that it's a record that will probably never be outstripped."

Kate Nash would never strip off to sell records
The 23-year-old singer would never 'show her body' to promote her image, claiming being a female pop star with opinions is enough to leave the world 'freaked out'.
She said: ' wouldn't show my body to sell music, but I am very opinionated and passionate about what I do. I'm a musician. I'm not a stripper or a model.
'But I don't think that makes me the girl next door. It is riskier not to take your kit off and have opinions and be smart and powerful. The world feels freaked out by that.'
The 'Foundations' hitmaker ' who released her second album 'My Best Friend Is You' last year ' believes getting naked to promote herself would have a negative impact on young girls who listen to her music.
She added: 't's a shame that 14-year-old girls are made to think they have to be sexy, thin, tanned and blonde to get a boyfriend.
'Pop stars can still be attractive and sexy without being a pin-up, blow-up doll. Intelligence is a factor as well.'

Arctic Monkeys almost called their fourth album 'The Blondo-Sonic Rape Alarm.'
The 'Cornerstone' rockers said although people might think their final decision, 'Suck it and See', unusual, they would have been even more surprised by other names they considered, including 'The Rain-Shaped Shimmer Trap' and 'The Thunder-Suckle Fuss Canyon'.
Singer and guitarist Alex Turner told NME magazine:"We were trying to think of album titles all the time when we were in Los Angeles, as a sort of exercise to try and stumble across something we thought we'd try and name something else and then steal that as our album title.
"So you know fuzz pedals for guitars? Hey usually have quite colourful names. So we were trying to think of fuzz pedal names in the hope it would lead us to an album title."
However, despite the band - which also includes Jamie Cook, Nick O'Malley and Matt Helders - not using one their more obscure titles for the album, the potential names appear in its song lyrics.
Alex added:"We got a load of them like 'The Thunder-Suckle Fuss Canyon', which is a lyric that did finally get in there, on 'Library Pictures'.
"It goes, 'We're going riding through the thunder-suckle fuss canyon' and then does a countdown to lift-off."

Motley Crue singer charged with battery domestic violence and disorderly conduct
The musician - who was released from jail in February for driving under the influence (DUI) - has been accused of poking his finger into the chest of ex-girlfriend Alicia Jacobs in Las Vegas Hilton's Shimmer Lounge showroom on March 24, as well as cursing and pointing or poking at Jacobs and her friends, John Katsilometes and Patricia McCrone.
According to gossip website TMZ, the criminal complaint - which was filed last week in Clark County, Nevada - states:"Neil poked three people with his right index finger ... each time stating the words, 'f**k you.'"
Neil's lawyer, David Chesnoff, says his client will plead not guilty to the battery and disorderly conduct charges, when he appears Las Vegas Justice Court on May 2.
Chesnoff said:"There are two sides to every story, especially when there are issues surrounding relationships. We are looking forward to a trial on the matter."
Neil and Jacobs split in March after seven months of dating and she has since claimed she is scared to be in a room with him.
If found guilty, Neil, 50, could face up to 12 months in jail and a $2,000 fine.
As well as serving jail time earlier this year, in 1984 he pleaded guilty to manslaughter after he crashed his car in Redondo Beach, California, killing his 24-year-old passenger Nicholas Dingley, known as Razzle - drummer with the band Hanoi Rocks - and seriously injuring two other people.
He served just 20 days in jail and was ordered to pay $2.5 million in restitution to victims.

Ringo Starr gives his drum kit to a teenage brain cancer survivor
The former Beatles star met with 17-year-old Alexx Kipp ' who also suffers from Tourette's Syndrome ' at the Los Angeles' Hard Rock Cafe as part of a new partnership between the restaurant chain and the Make-A'Wish Foundation last week and gave Alexx a black and white set of Ludwig drums, before playing on the kit with him.
Alexx - who has been playing drums since he was eight ' had wanted to meet Ringo for several years, and last year his family approached the charity to try and grant him his wish.
His father Charles Kipp said: 'Alexx came to me one morning and he said, 'Dad, I had a dream last night and I met Ringo.'
'This was before we knew it was going to happen. About a week later we got the call. I told him, 'It looks like your dream came true.' '
Alexx's next goal is to learn the Beatles hit 'I Am The Walrus' and he was given some advice by Ringo.
According to the Los Angeles Times newspaper, Ringo told him: ' get the easy bit. I come, I say hi, we hang out, we have a bit of fun.
'n the band I was in, we knew when we'd done the take, because it just feels good. It's like golf: When you hit that ball right, you know. You feel it - you feel the connection. And connecting is good.'
The musical legend also spoke about his ongoing involvement with the Make-A-Wish Foundation ' who accept requests from children with life-threatening illnesses and try and make them happen ' admitting it gives him a different perspective on life.
He said: 't's huge. It puts you in your place. You think you've got a cold - you're all, 'Oh, what about me?' Then you help these kids. You think of the families. I've got children too, and it's got to be hard.'
Ringo has designed a T-shirt which will be sold throughout Hard Rock International locations, with proceeds benefiting his Lotus Foundation, which directly supports Make-A-Wish.

AC/DC drummer has drug conviction overturned
Phil Rudd, drummer for AC/DC, has had his recent conviction for marijuana possession overturned in New Zealand.
Rudd was fined in December after marijuana was found on his houseboat in Tauranga, New Zealand. While the fine was small, Phil was concerned that having the charge on his record would make it hard or impossible for him to enter some countries while on tour.
Judge Alayne Wills agreed with Rudd's lawyer contention that making it hard for Rudd to tour could adversely affect others who depended on him and overturned the sentence; however, she ordered Rudd to pay $1,500 in legal and court fees, much higher than his original fine of $100.
AC/DC's tour in 2010 sold $177 million worth of tickets, making it the second biggest tour of the year.

Snoop Dogg thinks Charlie Sheen is 'abnormal'
The legendary rapper ' who is currently laying down a track with the troubled actor ' admitted while the former 'Two and a Half Men' star is unusual, he is having a 'crazy' time working with him.
Snoop said: 'Me and Charlie, we're working on something right now in the studio. Trying to put some music together. Something real crazy. He's a brilliant guy. I'm having so much fun just being around him.
"I love having relationships with different people who aren't the normal, who aren't the usual. One thing about Charlie, he's not normal, he's not usual.'
Snoop explained the unlikely duo are hoping to put out some of their material on micro-blogging site twitter over the coming week.
Speaking on 'Lopez Tonight', he added: 'We'll probably put something out on twitter in about three or four days.'
Charlie announced the pair's plans to create a single earlier in the week, explaining he is hoping to officially release the track following the close of his 'Violent Torpedo of Truth' tour on May 3.
He tweeted: 'Warlock meets his makers-music makers that is @SnoopDogg @robpatterson666 get ready to rock the Sheenius within!(sic)."

Queensryche make it to 30 years
Happy 30th to metal band Queensryche. The Bellevue, Washington band will celebrate the milestone by releasing their 12th studio album 'Dedicated To Chaos' later this year.
Queensryche signed with Roadrunner Records in 2010. This will be the band's first album for the metal label. The current line-up for the band includes original members Geoff Tate. Michael Wilton, Scott Rockenfield and Eddie Jackson with Parker Lundgren who joined in 2009. (Lundgren is also the son-on-law of signer Geoff Tate.
'Modern life moves fast,' commented Geoff Tate about the album. 'Plug into the rhythm of the now with our 12th studio album, Dedicated to Chaos. It's a clash and slash of musical experimentation anchored by the pulse of digital code.'
The release date for 'Dedicated To Chaos' is expected to be mid-year. Queensryche will also tour the album.

Katy Perry fell out with Calvin Harris after he pulled out of her tour
The 'Firework' singer posted an upset message on twitter to confirm the Scottish dance musician will not appear as planned at the UK and Ireland dates of her 'California Dreams Tour', prompting him to reply her team made it 'pointless' for him to play the dates.
Katy posted:"Calvin Harris will NOT be joining in on the fun and has CANCELLED last minute (sic).'
Calvin replied:"Sorry to all who wanted to see me with Katy ' her team suddenly moved the goalposts and I was to appear on stage with no production.
"We tried really hard to sort it out, but playing side of stage for 30 mins, it seemed pointless me even being there (sic)"
Katy ' who started the next leg of her tour in Dublin last night (29.03.11) - hit back, saying other acts to support her were content with the stage production and claimed this is not the first time Calvin has cancelled on her.
She wrote:"The goalpost seems to be perfectly fine for New Young Pony Club, Yelle, Robyn, Marina&The Diamonds, to name a few (sic).
"Or how about Janell Monae and her 16 piece band - It's fine, I'm used to you cancelling on me, it's become ur staple (sic)!"
Although it is not known when Calvin last cancelled on the star, he has pulled out of US dates in 2009 due to a chest infection and in 2008 he cancelled three dates in the UK because of 'other European commitments'.
He later sent another tweet to the 'I Kissed A Girl' singer apologising, and wrote another message to fans saying: 'The whole KP stuff shd never have been on twitter, I was trying 2 handle it pro behind the scenes but i wont let myself get ripped like that (sic).'

The Gaslight Anthem, Thin Lizzy and Jimmy Cliff to play Finsbury Park's London Feis
London Feis has announced Irish legends Thin Lizzy, fronted by Ricky Warwick of The Almighty and reggae impresario Jimmy Cliff will play on Sunday 19th June, whilst The Gaslight Anthem will play on the Saturday.
The festival has also confirmed Paul Brady, Eddi Reader, Hothouse Flowers and Cry Before Dawn for the Sunday and Irish indie group The Coronas for the Saturday.
Other acts announced so far are: Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Christy Moore with Declan Sinnott, The Cranberries, Imelda May, The Waterboys, The Undertones, The Saw Doctors, Clannad, Horslips, Afro Celt Sound System, Nanci Griffith, Shane MacGowan, Sharon Shannon Big Band, Frankie Gavin&De Dannan, and The Fureys.
The festival takes place in Finsbury Park, London, on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June 2011.
The Irish music festival, which celebrates 21 years of the best Irish and international music in Finsbury Park, will see an exclusive UK performance by Bob Dylan on Saturday and Van Morrison will be headlining the Sunday. There is also an exclusive appearance from the newly reformed Irish rock band The Cranberries.
Vince Power, founder of the Mean Fiddler Group, Hop Farm Music Festival and operator of Benicassim Festival, was responsible for 13 Fleadh festivals at Finsbury Park, which was a staple on the London music calendar from 1990 until 2004. Continuing on from where the Fleadh left off, London Feis steps in with a fresh outlook: Irish in flavour, international in reach.
Vince has hosted some of the biggest names in Irish and international music and the London Feis will be a celebration of some of the acts Vince has worked with over the years.
Festival boss Vince Power said: 't's great to announce even more acts across the two days and it's fantastic to have an act of Thin Lizzy's calibre on the bill. This year's Feis is set to be an unforgettable experience.'
The festival will see the best Irish and international music has to offer on four stages at London's Finsbury Park.

Jack White felt he no longer had any control over The White Stripes
The duo - who have not released any new material since 2007 - recently confirmed they had split, with astatement saying the band"no longer belonged"to them and is in the hands of their fans.
The frontman explained this further, claiming he and bandmate Meg White felt it would prevent further questions about their work being raised.
He said:"People say, 'Why didn't you do this? Why didn't you do that?' Or, 'Don't you owe something to somebody, or to yourselves?' All those questions.
"That line was the idea of explaining to them that at a certain point as an artist, you paint your painting, you do your sculpture or your music, and you release it into the world.
"You don't own it anymore. You have no control over it. You put it out there to share with other people. You can only hope for the best."
Jack played a short solo set at the South by South West (SXSW) festival, an event he first played with the White Stripes before they landed a record deal.
Despite admitting performing at such a large show opened doors for them, the rocker says he had always vowed never to play there.
He added in an interview with the New York Times newspaper:"It's a funny story. I swore never to play South by Southwest coming out as a teenager. But we got offered $3,000 to play a party, in 2000 or 2001. And we said, we've got to do it. That was the most money we'd ever heard of in our lives.
"About a week before we got down they said, 'Oh, you also have to play the festival because it's illegal for us to have you if you're not part of the festival.'
"So we had to do it. But it ended up being really good timing for the band. It really broke the band in a bigger level. So it was like, O.K., maybe I shouldn't have been so hard about it."

Amy Winehouse to appear on Tony Bennett duets album
Amy Winehouse entered the studio with crooner Tony Bennett recently to record a song for his upcoming 'Duets II' release.
The song, which is yet to be revealed, will be the first piece of recorded music Winehouse has put out since recording the Leslie Gore song 'It's My Party' for Quincy Jones' 2010 album 'Q: Soul Bossa Nostra'.
Bennett's album will also feature appearances by Lady Gaga, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, K.D. Lang, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban and Faith Hill to name a few. It will be released on September 20, 2011.
It is believed that Winehouse is currently recording her third album, which will be her first since 2006's breakout release 'Back To Black'.

Former Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan is a fan of Justin Bieber
The rocker is impressed by the 'Baby' singer's musicianship and thinks he puts on a great live show.
He said:"Do you know what? Justin's a rocker. Man, he actually sings at his gigs, and the band's a real band, and he plays drums and he's f***ing great. Justin Bieber is a rocker for sure."
The Velvet Revolver star discovered Justin's music through his two daughters, 13-year-old Grace and 10-year-old Mae Marie - his children with his wife, swimsuit designer Susan Holmes.
And the 47-year-old rock star - who was notorious for his hard partying and drink and drug use before he got sober - has revealed he is happy to go and watch his girls' favourite pop stars with them.
He added to NME magazine:"Grace is 13 and she finds new cool stuff and she's into Justin Bieber. And I take them to every gig they want to go to. Justin Bieber concert - great. Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift."

Michael Jackson considered Dame Elizabeth Taylor as 'royalty'
The late singer ' who was known as the 'King of Pop' ' was a close friend of the Hollywood beauty, who passed away on Wednesday (23.03.11) aged 79, and believed they understood each other because they had both been child stars.
Their mutual friend David Gest said: ' recall the time we were having dinner at La Scala restaurant in Beverly Hills. People flocked around her - it was funny because for once Michael wasn't the centre of attention.
' remember he leaned over and whispered to me, 'Now that's what you call royalty.'
'To Americans she was royalty, she was the closest thing they have to a queen and everywhere she went people fawned over her.
'Michael once told me that the reason they got along so well was that she was a child star herself, so understood him completely.'
Concert promoter David also revealed 'Thriller' singer ' who died in June 2009 - would often shower the 'Cleopatra' star with gifts, and felt he could be 'human' when he was with her.
David added to The Sun newspaper: 'They would take trips together to New York or London. And Elizabeth loved lavish gifts. Michael would shower her with presents of jewellery and said she was like an excited little kid when he presented her with something new.
'She loved this specific violet rose which you could only get in this one Beverly Hills florist.'
Elizabeth started her career aged 10 in the film 'There's One Born Every Minute' in 1942, and went on to become one of the biggest stars of the 'Golden Age of Hollywood' in the 1950s. She continued acting until 2001 appearing in the TV film 'These Old Broads'.
Michael shot to fame as a member of The Jackson Five, which he starred in from the age of six with his brothers, before going on to become one of the biggest pop stars of all-time.
The group had their first hit with lead vocals from Michael in 1969 with 'I Want You Back'.

Jamiroquai pull gig last night after crew member dies
Jamiroquai cancelled a concert last night (24.03.11) after the death of one of their stage hands.
The 'Virtual Insanity' hitmakers had been due to play a show at the La Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon, France, but cancelled after a 26-year-old worker lost his footing and fell 50ft from a gantry.
Frontman Jay Kay wrote on his Facebook page: 'The band was shocked and saddened when told the news, and out of respect immediately felt the right decision was to cancel the show. A police investigation is taking place.'
This is not the first time a star has to cancel a show following a tragedy.
In 2009, Madonna axed one of her shows at the Velodrome stadium in Marseilles, France, after two workers died following the collapse of a stage set as they prepared for a show in her 'Sticky and Sweet' world tour.
The singer released a statement at the time saying:"I'm devastated at the tragic news. My prayers go to those who were injured and their families."
The 'Material Girl' hitmaker was told of the accident while she was rehearsing for her concert at Friuli Stadium, in Udine, Italy, and later in the evening, stopped her performance, telling the audience:"I ask you for a moment to stop and think of the people who have lost their lives, we need to appreciate life, the people we love and our families."

Duran Duran launch album with David Lynch
Duran Duran will live stream a show from Los Angeles to launch their latest album.
The 'Rio' hitmakers - who release their 13th record 'All You Need is Now' on CD this week - will collaborate with filmmaker David Lynch for the 'Unstaged: An Original Series from American Express' concert from the Mayan Theatre in the city on Wednesday (23.03.11) and lead singer Simon Le Bon said he can't wait to work with the maverick 'Lost Highway' director.
He said:"We are all beyond delighted that David Lynch has agreed to direct this show for us. It's a dream come true, quite frankly. We are all such fans of his work and think he has a creative vision like no other."
David added:"The idea is to try and create on the fly, layers of images permeating Duran Duran on the stage. A world of experimentation and hopefully some happy accidents."
Simon recently revealed he feels he and bandmates Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor have recaptured the essence of the band's first albums as a result of working with producer Mark Ronson.
He said:"I love this new album because we're edgy again. Our first two albums were considered cutting edge, futuristic and very modern. Mark brought that element of danger and risk back to our music this time around, rather than it sounding like it was designed for the charts beforehand."
The 2011 'Unstaged: An Original Series from American Express' performance will be live-streamed at 3am in the UK (24.03.11) and 10pm in Los Angeles (23.03.11) at www.YouTube.com/DuranDuranVEVO.

Nirvana EP to be rereleased for record store day
Nirvana's 1992 'Hormoaning' EP will be rereleased for Record Store Day.
The EP was an Australia-only release for their 1992 tour and appearances at the Big Day Out.
It was a recording of John Peel Sessions, featuring covers of Devo, The Vaselines and The Wipers, as well as live versions of early Nirvana tunes 'Aneurysm' and 'Even In His Youth'.
Now NME reports that the EP will be rereleased for Record Store Day on April 16, limited to 6000 copies.
Other acts that are releasing special albums for Record Store Day include Bad Brains, Built To Spill, The Flaming Lips, Deftones, and Mastodon.
There are also scores of instore events and Record Store Day have secured Ozzy Osbourne as their ambassador.
